Getting Here Should Be Easy Enough !

Location
Pulau Tinggi is situated on the north eastern side of Johor. Tanjung Leman Jetty
(approximately 1 hour south from Mersing) is where the ferry or speed boat departs
from. Journey takes approximately 1 hour by ferry and 30 mins by speed boat.

Transportation
Driving is the best way to get to Tanjung Leman Jetty. The express bus service only
heads to Mersing (closest town). Getting public transport from Mersing to Tanjung Leman
is no joke as there are no local bus services that travel to the jetty itself. Taxis on the other
hand charge a very hefty fare. If traveling by bus, make sure the resort you booked with can arrange for pickups at the express bus terminal you arrive at.

When driving on the North-South Expressway, take the Ayer Hitam exit (Interchange 244) and drive towards Kluang. Then continue onwards using the Kluang-Jemaluang trunk road. After Jemaluang town, get onto the Kota Tinggi-Mersing trunk road. Look out for signboards that will lead you to Sibu Island or Tanjung Leman Jetty.

Car Park
The jetty provides a proper car park for RM4 per entry. It’s quite large and rarely full. A security guard is present 24 hours so your vehicle should be safe. Just remember to hide any valuables and lock your vehicle.

Ferry schedule
Please be reminded that there is no regular ferry or speedboats to Pulau Tinggi. Transfer to the island is usually arranged by the resort you booked with.

Jetty fee
Anyone using the Tanjung Leman Jetty is required to pay RM4 per person at the ticket counter.

Marine Park Fee
If any Marine Park officials are around, a fee of RM5 per person is charged. Proceeds from this fee are used for the maintenance of the surrounding marine park which Pulau Tinggi falls under.
